Robert Tell, L.C.S.W., has worked in the mental health field for 12 years and has earned the Diplomate of Clinical Social Work credential from NASW. He has worked as a case manager with the persistent and severe population, as a research assistant for sleep and Seasonal Affective Disorder studies, and as an individual, family, and group psychotherapist. Prior to coming to the Mood Disorders Clinic he worked at the University of Chicago Hospitals Department of Psychiatry as an outpatient therapist for 5 years. While there he was a member of their Acute Response team, coordinated the group psychotherapy program, and taught students and residents. Currently, he serves as a clinical specialist for the STEP-BD study.
