Danell Bjornson, BA. - Her primary duty is to provide an opportunity for veterans, both locally and through distance education, to learn about Hepatitis C. She also assists with the VISN-20 Prophylactic Antidepressant Study and she is a liaison between the liver clinic and the HCRC. Additionally she coordinates the activities of our two work-study students. Before coming to the PVAMC, she was a full-time psychology student at Mary Washington College (now Mary Washington University) in Fredericksburg, Virginia. While attending school she worked as a mental health technician at an acute care psychiatric hospital and also as an ABA therapist for children with Autism.
