Vocational Rehabilitation Services - Incentive Therapy
Incentive Therapy (IT) is a rehabilitative program provided
under 38 U.S. Code 618(a) which authorizes assignment of
veterans to various work situations within the Department
of Veterans Affairs as part of their treatment or rehabilitative
programs. It is designed to help veterans regain work habits
and skills before moving into more substantial vocational
plans and/or employment. These non-employment work activities
are paid upwards to half of the local minimum wage.
