DAV Portland chapter #1 Donated $6,000 to the Nursing Skilled Care unit (NSCU) , The donation will be used for the Hospice Healing garden Located on the Vancouver campus.
The Hospice Healing Garden will cost about $21,000.00 to construct. It is designed with wide paths to accommodate wheel chairs and hospital beds and many of the features will trigger the senses, such as tranquil sounds of water and wind chimes and the soothing scents of lavender and mint. |
