Goals and Objectives

1. To improve knowledge, diagnostic acumen and clinical ability by providing general
   dentistry for our veteran population.
2. To improve skills in the oral health care management both well and medically
   compromised patients in a hospital setting.
3. To provide a broad educational framework that will allow residents to improve their
   ability to deliver quality health care and develop a practice philosophy that emphasizes the medical, social and psychological needs of the patient.
4. To improve the resident’s ability to interact with health care professionals of various
   disciplines in order to provide our veteran population with the best care possible.
5. To provide experience in providing dental care in a community setting.
