Clinical Psychology Internship - Greetings from the Director

Welcome to the Portland VAMC Predoctoral Psychology Internship Program. We hope our website answers questions you might have about our application process. 

In the brochure are forms unique to the Portland VAMC. These forms will assist the Training Committee in accurately evaluating your experience, and the congruence between your internship goals and the training experiences we offer. To be considered, an application must include the following materials:

• Portland VAMC Application Form 

• Portland VAMC Clinical Experience Form

• Current Vita

• Autobiographical Statement

• Verification of Internship Eligibility and Readiness Form (from the AAPI)

• Three Professional Letters of Recommendation 

• Graduate School Transcript(s), copies OK  

All materials may be sent in one envelope, as long as letters of recommendation and transcripts remain in their original sealed envelopes.
