Transition from local pilot to national program
After November 22, 2006, we will no longer be accepting new applications to the My HealtheVet Pilot. Veterans applying after November 22nd will be asked to register at the national My HealtheVet (MHV) web site at www.myhealth.va.gov.

The national My HealtheVet (MHV) web site currently provides Online Prescription Refill, trusted health information, links to Federal and VA benefits and resources, and the Personal Health Journal. In the coming months MHV registrants will be able to view prescription names, appointments, key portions of their VA medical records co- pay balances, and much more. MHV is available to veterans, their families, veteran advocates, and VA employees.

The Pilot site, www.health-evet.va.gov/, will remain active and available to those veterans who are currently signed up. When equivalent functionality is available on the national site the Pilot site will be deactivated. We expect this to be sometime in 2008. In the mean time, if veterans who are not currently signed up on the MHV Pilot program want copies of records, they will have to process a paper request through the Release of Information (ROI) office in room 101-125.

Register today at the national My HealtheVet web site at www.myhealth.va.gov. Then review the In-Person Authentication Process that is needed to be able to view your VA Medical Record online.
