Visiting Hours and Guidelines
The family plays an important role in the patient's
return to health; visits are important for morale. To
ensure that the patient gets the rest and care he or
she needs, we ask you to observe a few necessary limitations.
- Please have no more than three visitors at a time
and keep visits short when appropriate.
- General visiting
hours are 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- The medical center is a smoke-free environment.
- Visitors must be at least 15 years old.
- It's generally best if visitors leave a patient's
room while he or she is being treated.
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU) visitors are limited to the
immediate family or another designated person at least
18 years old. Please consult with the ICU nursing staff
for further guidelines.
- For you convenience, Room 3D-128 has been designated an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) waiting area. The room is supplied with a small kitchen (supply your own snacks), comfortable chairs and restrooms. There are also games, puzzles and a television to help pass the time between brief visitation periods. Note that visitors are not permitted in the ICU during shift change from 4:30-6:00 pm.
